The Chicago Fire acquired two 2026 international roster slots from the Colorado Rapids.
In exchange, the Rapids received $600,000 in general allocation money in 2026 and $250,000 more in 2027.
Chicago opens the 2026 MLS season on the road against the Houston Dynamo on Feb. 21.
Colorado also begins the campaign on the road against the Seattle Sounders on Feb. 22.
