The Chicago Cubs agreed to a deal with right-handed pitcher Hunter Harvey pending a physical, The Athletic reported Saturday.
Harvey, 31, went 1-0 without allowing a run in 12 relief appearances with the Kansas City Royals last season.
In parts of seven major league seasons with the Baltimore Orioles (2019-21), Washington Nationals (2022-24) and Royals, the former first-round draft pick in 2013 is 10-11 with a 3.11 ERA and 11 saves over 182 relief appearances.
