New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge became the fourth player in major league history to produce four 50-homer seasons, reaching the milestone on Wednesday against the visiting Chicago White Sox.
After hitting No. 50 in the second inning, he added No. 51 in the eighth inning of the Yankees' 8-1 win.
Judge joined a list that includes Babe Ruth, Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa.
Judge, 33, also had 50-plus-homer seasons in 2017, 2022 and 2024. He bashed a career-high -- and American League-record -- 62 in 2022.
Ruth (1920-21, 1927-28), McGwire (1996-99) and Sosa (1998-2001) were similar ages when they reach the mark for a fourth time. Ruth was 33, while Sosa was 32. McGuire was the oldest at 35.
In the second inning against Chicago reliever Jonathan Cannon, Judge squared up a first-pitch sinker from the right-hander, launching the ball 392 feet to center field. The dinger scored Anthony Volpe and Trent Gresham, giving New York a 3-1 lead.
Judge added a solo shot off Cam Booser in the eighth.
The long ball was career No. 365 for Judge. He sits in fourth place in Yankees history behind Ruth (659), Mickey Mantle (536) and Lou Gehrig (493).
Twice an AL MVP, Judge earned his seventh All-Star nod this season. He leads the majors in batting average (.328), on-base percentage (.455) and slugging percentage (.681).
