Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and rookie right guard Tyler Booker will miss at least this week's game against the Green Bay Packers because of high ankle sprains, team owner and general manager Jerry Jones said Monday.
According to ESPN, Lamb is expected to miss three to four weeks while Booker is likely out four to six weeks.
Asked whether either player would be put on injured reserve, necessitating a minimum four-week absence, Jones said, 'We're looking at that. We'll watch it a few more days. We don't have to decide right now.'
He added, 'That's a setback for us. Lamb, of course, is a real serious loss for us.'
Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer said, 'He'll miss some time, but CeeDee is a guy who heals quickly, and he will do everything in his power to get back.'
Lamb was injured on a tackle by the Chicago Bears' Noah Sewell during the first quarter of Dallas' 31-14 road loss on Sunday. He exited the game and did not return. It marked just the second time in his career he ended a game with zero receptions.
Lamb, 26, has 16 receptions for 222 yards this season in three games. Named to the Pro Bowl four times, Lamb has 512 receptions for 6,561 yards and 38 touchdowns in 84 games (79 starts) over six seasons in Dallas. He was named first-team All-Pro in 2023.
The Cowboys are 0-3 in his career when Lamb hasn't played.
Booker's absence would be another blow to the Dallas offensive line heading into the matchup against the Packers on Sunday night. Center Cooper Beebe (broken right foot) can't return from IR before Week 7.
The revamped line will have to contend with Packers pass rusher Micah Parsons, who was acquired from Dallas shortly before the season after he and the Cowboys failed to agree on a contract extension.
Booker, 21, didn't miss any action on Sunday, continuing his run of appearing on every offensive snap this season. He was selected by Dallas with the 12th overall pick in the 2025 draft out of Alabama.
