Washington [US], April 21 (ANI): Singer-songwriter SZA almost avoided a mishap during the opening night of her Grand National Tour, which she is co-headlining with Kendrick Lamar at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
The video showed SZA attempting choreography with one of her dancers as she performed 'Diamond Boy (DTM)' from her 2024 album Lana.
During the performance, the dancer stumbled and nearly dropped her, according to People.
SZA leaned into the dance move with her arm around the dancer's shoulders. However, the singer stepped forward and caught herself before falling on the stage. She quickly recovered after a beat, and the two continued dancing as if nothing had happened, as per the outlet.
SZA and Lamar's will be travelling to cities including Houston, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Chicago and Detroit. International dates include Germany, Spain, Italy and Spain, among others, reported People.
SZA opened up on her tour with Lamar during a March appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
'Oh, we're doing a new thing,' SZA said, adding, 'We're doing a fun thing. We're both just kind of throwing all the paint at the wall. This is our first stadium show for both of us, so we pretty much have to go insane,' reported People.
The two artists announced their tour in December 2024. (ANI)
