'In 2019, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties closed a record-breaking $4.1 billion in units sold, and our award-winning associates, honored at kickoff, had a huge part in this success,' said Dan Forsman, president and CEO, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties. 'This esteemed group of associates experienced a 13% gain in sales volume and 8% in units, compared to the overall market that grew 7.5% in volume and little to no gain in units. Additionally, 71% of these associates had a better, more profitable year in 2019 compared to 2018, earning 15% more in gross commission income. This level of dedication and productivity is something I am truly proud of, and our Luxury Collection, along with our senior leadership team, played a considerable role in this growth. I look forward to seeing how all of our associates will continue to excel in 2020.'
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties' Luxury Collection also experienced incredible growth in the luxury market.
'2019 was another record-breaking year for our Luxury Collection,' said Lori Lane, senior vice president, Luxury Collection. 'I am so proud of everyone who played a part in the continued prosperity. For homes priced above $1 million, Luxury Collection grew 31.2% in units and increased 36% in sales volume. Additionally, for homes priced at $750 thousand and above, we grew 27.1% in units and 31% in sales volume. This growth is phenomenal, considering the overall market average is less than half these numbers.'
During his keynote presentation, Dan Forsman reflected on the impressive growth of Luxury Collection. Following its start in 2015, Luxury Collection has grown to over $1.3 billion in sales volume and continues to set the standard for luxury real estate in the Metro Atlanta area.
'When you look at what's happened with the growth of our company, luxury leads the iconic brand, Berkshire Hathaway. Our Luxury Collection division has done an amazing job over the last several years,' said Dan Forsman. 'The things we do in luxury to help our agents acquire listings and grow their client base, are above and beyond what other real estate companies are doing. Luxury Collection's team works very hard and they're very diligent to ensure the best for our associates.'
